Terms

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms apply to every Hookloft order. Hookloft is run by Nicolas Feier, Ulmenweg 4, 77656 Offenburg, Germany (“we”, “us”). “You” means the business that places the order.

1. Who we work with

We sell to businesses only, not to consumers. By ordering, you confirm that you buy for your business and that you may place the order for it.

We don’t take orders for prescription products, products that claim to cure, treat or prevent a disease, money or income promises, or ads that only work if a real customer says them. If an order turns out to be one of these, we cancel it and refund it in full.

2. What you buy

Starter, $450 once

  • Six concepts, each one hook, pain and USP, and each made in three angles: 18 video ads, $25 an ad.
  • Concepts written from your customers’ reviews, approved by you before we make anything.
  • Each finished ad in 9:16 and 4:5, with captions.
  • A concept map and file names built for testing.
  • Day-7 and day-14 readouts against your account’s own baseline.

Monthly, $1,750 a month

  • 36 ads a month: a weekly drop of three concepts in three angles, about 8 new concepts and 4 iterations on your winners a month.
  • A weekly one-page readout and a monthly review call.
  • Creator briefs to remake your winners with real creators.

One ad is one video with its own angle. A concept is one hook, pain and USP, and we make each concept in three angles. Extra sizes and text swaps don’t count as extra ads.

3. How an order runs

  1. After you pay, we email you a short intake form: your product pages, where your reviews live, your best current ads, the claims you can’t make, and your logo and photos.
  2. About two business days after you send the form, we send six concepts. Each one shows its hook, pain and USP, and the three angles we’ll shoot. You can ask for changes to any concept. We make nothing until you approve.
  3. Approving all six concepts starts the 72-hour clock.
  4. We deliver the finished ads, the steps to turn on Meta’s and TikTok’s AI labels, and a disclosure line for your ad copy.
  5. You or your media buyer launch the ads. We don’t run ads for you.
  6. After delivery you can ask for one round of changes per ad, such as a caption, a line of text or a cut. A new concept is a new ad, not a change.

We take five new Starter clients a week so the 72-hour promise holds. If we are full when you order, we tell you the start date. You can wait for it or get a full refund.

4. Our three Starter promises

Ads in 72 hours

Your 18 ads arrive within 72 hours after you approve all six concepts. If we are late, we refund the full Starter price and you keep the ads.

Love them, or get your money back

Don’t want to run them? Tell us within 7 days of getting the ads and we refund every dollar. You don’t need to call us or explain. This works once per brand. When you take this refund, you agree not to run, publish or otherwise use the ads, and your usage rights in them end.

Beat your thumb-stop rate, or it’s free

If none of the 18 ads beats your account’s average thumb-stop rate, we make six new concepts for free, 18 more ads. If none of those beats it either, we refund the $450 and you keep all 36 ads.

For this promise, launch all 18 ads unedited within 14 days of delivery, give each at least 2,000 impressions, and give us read-only access in Ads Manager. Thumb-stop rate means 3-second video views divided by impressions. Your average is your ad account’s thumb-stop rate over the 90 days before delivery. We check it in the day-14 readout. The same conditions apply to the 18 free ads, counted from their delivery.

How refunds work

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, through Stripe. They usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days. An order is refunded once, and never for more than you paid.

These promises give you the remedies described in this section. They are not a promise of any particular result from your ad spend, such as sales or return on spend.

5. Monthly plan

  • Monthly is billed in advance each month through Stripe, starting on the day you sign up.
  • Founding rate: our first five Monthly brands pay $1,750 a month, and the price stays the same for as long as the subscription stays active. If you cancel and come back later, the price at that time applies.
  • If you bought a Starter order, we credit the $450 in full to your first Monthly invoice. We send you a code for it.
  • Promise: at least 3 ads a month beat your account’s average thumb-stop rate, or next month is free. The conditions are the same as for the Starter thumb-stop promise: launch the ads unedited within 14 days of delivery, give each at least 2,000 impressions, and keep our read-only access in Ads Manager.
  • Pause any time by emailing us. We stop the drops and the billing until you restart.
  • Cancel any time in the billing portal or by email. The plan ends at the end of the month you have paid for. We don’t refund part months.

6. Your part

  • Send us accurate information, and only materials you have the right to use: logos, photos, clips, reviews and trademarks. You let us use them to make and deliver your ads, and for nothing else.
  • Tell us the claims you can’t make, and send proof for every claim you want in an ad. We only use claims you can back up. You stay responsible for what your brand claims and for how, where and to whom you run the ads.
  • When you publish an ad, keep its AI label and disclosure line, and turn on the platform’s AI label where it asks for one. Don’t present an AI presenter as a real customer or a real person.
  • For readouts and promises, give us read-only access to your ad account and keep it in place.

7. How we use AI

  • Every presenter is AI, and every ad is labelled as AI.
  • Presenters speak for your brand. They never pretend to be customers.
  • No made-up results, reviews, names or “verified buyer” tags.
  • No fake doctors, lab coats or before-and-after pictures.
  • No real person’s face or voice unless they agree in writing.
  • We check every ad for lip sync, hands, pauses and claims before you see it.

We make the video and voice with third-party AI tools. AI presenters are synthetic, so a similar-looking AI person can appear in other people’s content. Your rights cover your ads, not an AI person’s look or voice in general.

8. Your rights in the ads

Once you have paid, you may use the finished ads, scripts and raw files we deliver anywhere in the world, without time limit, in any medium, including paid ads. You may edit and adapt them and pass these rights on. The rights are exclusive to you: we don’t license your ads to anyone else. Where AI-made material is not protected by copyright, we give you every right we have in it.

We only show your ads as examples of our work if you say yes in writing.

9. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. You pay at checkout through Stripe, and Stripe sends the invoice. We are a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), so we don’t charge VAT.

10. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach a duty that is essential to the contract, and only for the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. In that case our total liability per order is limited to the price of that order, and for Monthly to the fees of the last three months.

We are not liable for decisions that ad platforms make about your ads or your account, for the results of your ad spend, or for claims and materials that you gave us. If a third party makes a claim against us because of materials or claims you supplied, or because of how you ran the ads, you cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

11. Confidentiality and data

We keep your materials and your ad account data confidential and use them only for your orders. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. If you need a data processing agreement, ask us and we send one.

12. General

  • German law applies. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
  • If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the courts at our place of business have jurisdiction.
  • We may update these terms. New terms apply to new orders. For Monthly, we email you 30 days before a change takes effect, and you can cancel before then.
  • Email is enough for notices under these terms, such as approvals, refund requests and cancellations.
  • If one part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
